SURPLUS, TRF OF WORK & VOLUNTARY EXIT OFFER MEETINGS
On Friday, August 4, 2023, the Company will email the VEO package to all employees. We are scheduling (2) zoom meetings, one for Tuesday, August 8th and another on Wednesday August 9th to go over the information and answer questions. Both meetings will be at 6pm.
There are limitations that will apply to each job title. I have included the numbers for Maine and job titles that will be a combined 3 state total.
The Company has postponed both the Surplus and Transfer of Work. Unfortunately, they will not give any guarantees on the number of VEO packages it will take to satisfy both.
Timeline:
August 4 – Company sends VEO via email.
August 25 – On or before 4pm HR Service must receive the signed agreement. ANY agreements received after 4pm will NOT be considered.
August 30 – Final notification of acceptance from the Company.
September 1 – Final day of employment.

Administrative Assistant – 2 Payroll Processor – 1
Broadband Installer – 0 Power Follow Thru Inspector – 1
Central Office Tech – 2 Service Assistant – 1
Driver B – 2 Service Representative – 14
Outside Plant Tech – 1 Translations Administrator – 2
Splice Service Tech’s ONLY 1 per garage location.
All employees in P13 promotion titles will revert to their native job title for the purpose of headcount limitations.

Automotive Equipment Mechanic (1) total – all states single group
Building Attendant (1) total – all states single group
Buildings Equipment Mechanic (1) total – all states single group
Computer Service Technician (5) total – all states in single group

Equipment Installation Technician (5) total – all states in single group
Facility Assigners (6) total – all states in single group
NCS (Seniority) dates shall apply in selecting employees for voluntary severance within the limitations agreed upon.
