The Portland Press Herald article today could not have been more wrong in the reporting my position on the sale of Verizon.  No one has been more vocal of an opponent on Fairpoint than this office.  For them to print the article as they did is an abomination.  I am not surprised by their actions as we have had to fight to get any of our views printed in that rag.  Don’t believe everything you read.  Let there be no mistake about it – the leadership of IBEW Local 2327 remained and will oppose this deal to the end.  It’s not good for Maine and it’s not good for us.
