PUC Hearing Examiner Report

Late yesterday, the hearing examiner for the Public Utilities commission in 300 page report recommending that the Sale of Verizon should be rejected, citing substantial risks to ratepayers and shareholders that outweigh any potential benefit.

The report also stated that if the commission did not agree to reject the deal there should be 49 strict conditions applied before approval.

This is great news for us and our state.  The PUC will start deliberations on Dec. 13th.  We could have a decision any time after that.
